We are recruiting aspiring Teaching Assistants to join schools across Tower Hamlets through our fully funded Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Programme.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain paid experience in a school while completing a nationally recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification worth over £7,000, fully funded through the apprenticeship programme.
What You’ll Receive
- Full time employment in a primary or secondary school (5 days per week)
- A fully funded Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (£7,000 value)

The Role
- Support pupils in the classroom alongside experienced teachers
- Work with small groups and individual students
- Assist with interventions in literacy, numeracy and other subjects
- Help create a positive learning environment
- Support pupils with additional learning needs
- Develop the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified Teaching Assistant
Who We’re Looking For
- Enthusiastic individuals with a passion for education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, professional and committed candidates
- Individuals able to work full time, Monday to Friday
- Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential
Career Progression
Upon successful completion of the programme, candidates will achieve a nationally recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and may have the opportunity to progress towards becoming a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), opening doors to further responsibilities and career advancement within schools.
