Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sayers Common for an MOT Tester / Vehicle Mechanic. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive MOT tests in line with DVSA standards, diagnosing vehicle issues, performing routine maintenance, and carrying out necessary vehicle repairs. The role also involves ensuring compliance with safety protocols, maintaining accurate documentation, and delivering excellent customer service through clear communication.
Qualifications
- Practical knowledge and experience in diagnosing vehicle issues and performing repairs
- Proficiency in conducting MOT inspections to the standards set by DVSA
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures, including servicing and repairs
- Attention to detail for accurate documentation and compliance with safety standards
- Effective communication skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Valid MOT Tester certification and a full UK driving license
- Additional certifications in vehicle mechanics or automotive engineering are advantageous
