As an Elite Platinum Global Alliance Partner, Deloitte is a leading Workday Finance Practice partner. In this role you help clients reduce costs and support innovation by managing business requirements and leading functional design, prototyping, and process design stages of Workday implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own delivery and solution architecture for R2R/P2P/C2C/Workday Accounting Centre
- Engage in advisory and delivery projects, from transformation strategy to full lifecycle of Workday delivery
- Map business requirements to Workday configurations across GL, Supplier Accounts, Customer Accounts, Banking, and Expenses
- Work with clients to develop overall solution architecture and end‑to‑end processes supported by Workday technology
- Lead executive‑level workshops, challenge requirements, and translate business objectives into pragmatic Workday designs
Essential Requirements
- Experience in ERP, EPM and cloud computing (including storage, platforms and data)
- Relevant work experience in Finance technology or related field
- At least one active Workday Finance Certification (R2R, P2P, or Accounting Centre)
- Finance transformation experience with Workday
- Translate business requirements into system, application or process designs covering functional and non‑functional aspects
- Good understanding of Workday transactional data flows and support for data migration activities
- Experience designing/implementing ERP systems
- Possess Workday Finance, FDM and Engagement Manager Certifications (ideal)
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Ability to plan and deliver scope and deliverables of a team
- Manage stakeholders using clear communication and build strong client relationships
- Clear understanding of risk in relation to ERP delivery projects
- Work effectively within an inclusive team and support development of individuals and teams
- Experience of at least four end‑to‑end Workday implementations
Desirable Skills (Optional)
- Understanding of automation, continuous integration/deployment and cloud‑based delivery models
- Comfortable communicating technical issues with business people and business issues with technical people
- Ability to express complex concepts in plain language to broader audiences
- Ability to craft compelling messages tailored to audiences, combining technical expertise with simple language
- Business domain and/or industry knowledge
- Ability to work well with cross‑functional, geographically dispersed teams and clients
- Effective cross‑functional project management, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, translating business requirements into information models
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership and self‑direction
- Experience in consulting or professional services (or equivalent)
