Welsh-Medium Teaching Assistant – Primary School, Cardiff

Supply Hive Wales are looking for a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming Welsh-medium primary school in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is confident working through the medium of Welsh and enjoys supporting children in a primary school setting. We are looking for someone reliable, positive and enthusiastic who can build strong relationships with pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils in class, small groups and on a 1:1 basis
• Helping children with their learning, confidence and wellbeing
• Supporting the class teacher with daily routines and activities
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Working through the medium of Welsh throughout the school day

Qualifications

• Fluent or confident in Welsh
• Experience working with children, ideally in a school or childcare setting
• Patient, nurturing and enthusiasticCan support pupils with a range of learning needs
• Reliable, professional and able to work as part of a team

• Pay: £93–£100 per day, depending on experience
