Role Overview
The Account Manager at Pearl & Dean is an integral part of the Sales Team, responsible for driving revenue growth within an assigned media agency group. This role emphasises building and maintaining strong relationships with existing partners, developing new connections, and enhancing Pearl & Dean’s profile in the industry. The Account Manager will deliver revenue through traditional on-screen advertising and a variety of innovative off-screen platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Generation: Meet or exceed revenue targets as set by the Sales Director and Senior Management team.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with agencies and clients.
- Collaborative Campaign Development: Work closely with the Create team and Marketing team to maximize the potential of briefs and available resources.
- Strategic Sales Pitches: Identify synergies between upcoming film releases and brand opportunities to create compelling sales pitches for cinema advertising.
- Presentation Excellence: Develop and deliver high-quality sales presentations to agency and client stakeholders.
- Profile Enhancement: Collaborate with the marketing department to raise awareness of cinema’s value through targeted mailers, training sessions, and immersion events.
- Event Coordination: Engage agencies and clients through regular film screenings and other film-related events.
- Innovative Solutions: Partner with the Head of Strategic Partnerships to develop bespoke off-screen advertising solutions.
- Third-Party Revenue Opportunities: Explore and drive revenue through non-core cinema business ventures.

· Agency Group Revenue: Drive increased share of spend across the allocated agency group.

Qualifications and Experience
- Graduate-level education or equivalent experience will be an advantage.
- A minimum of 2 years in account management or media sales.
- Demonstrated experience working with major media planning and buying agencies.
- Solid understanding of the media landscape, including cinema’s role within it.
- Existing client contacts are advantageous but not essential. A strong understanding of the broader media market and the ability to articulate cinema’s unique value is essential.
