Homelessness is a great place to work where you can make a positive difference to people lives by directing enquiries to the right teams. The successful candidates will be required to be flexible in their working and have good communication and organisational skills. This is a challenging role in a highly pressured environment at a time of significant change. The role is hybrid, with an expectation to work from the Council’s offices or co-locating with partner agencies and working from home.
This role’s key function is to support the day-to-day operation of the Housing Solution & Support Case Worker Service. This role holds responsibility for a number of administrative tasks, including monitoring external mailboxes, web requests and referrals into the service.
You will also be responsible for raising finance requests for approval, managing databases, and supporting service managers as required. The role will require you to work with a range of IT systems.
Qualifications
- Great communication skills, verbal and written.
- Great organisational skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with high levels of accuracy.
- Confidence in the use of systems and databases.
- Knowledge of working within social housing and homelessness is helpful but not required; training will be provided for those with experience in another social or person facing field.
