The Job in a Nutshell:
Essentially, your job will be to support the commercial team in managing the financial side of construction projects from start to finish. You’ll assist with valuations, subcontractor packages, cost reporting, variations, final accounts, and contract administration to ensure projects are delivered profitably and efficiently. Don’t worry you’ll be working closely with experienced Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers who will help you develop your skills.
Should You Apply?
We think candidates with a Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building Surveying, or related degree should apply. If you’ve recently graduated or have some placement experience within construction and are looking to build a long-term career in commercial management, you’ll have a strong chance of success. A good understanding of construction methods, strong organisational skills, and commercial awareness will put you in a great position. We will also review Graduate candidates.
