We are looking for a self‑motivated individual who will work as part of a team and on their own. The successful candidate will play an active role within the support team.
Main duties of the job
- Undertake routine or emergency/unplanned cleaning tasks in inpatient, outpatient and department areas
- Follow cleaning schedules and infection control procedures
- Use a variety of cleaning equipment
- Work up to 12‑hour shifts, covering 07:00 to 24:00 on a rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays
- Receive a full induction and an extensive on‑the‑job training programme covering all aspects of the service

Qualifications and Knowledge
- Literacy, numeracy and comprehension skills
- Basic health and safety, COSHH, moving and handling and food hygiene knowledge, or willingness to learn through on‑the‑job training
- Health and safety, COSHH, moving and handling training
Other
- Can work flexibly as required
- Welsh speaker (Level 1) or willingness to work towards it
Experience
- Experience of dealing with the general public
