Job Title: Product Support Specialist

Location: Unit 1 High Barns Farm, Bedford Road, Roxton, Bedfordshire, MK44 3ET / Hybrid working from home & Mercedes Dealership

Job Summary: The Product Support and Aftercare Specialist will aid and assist Service, Sales, Training and Directors to achieve excellent support and aftercare support for our customers and internal departments.

Relationships: Directors, Service, Training, Sales Team, and Customers

Standard Duties/ Responsibilities:

Product Support

• Support Sales Department with newly imported vehicles – PDI’s IVA’s vehicle movements.

• Working with all chassis manufacturers and dealers to ensure a smooth delivery process.

• Support Service Department when required.

• Handing new machines over with Sales.

• Working at our customer’s sites and in-house demonstrating new and existing products.

• Research and development tasks.

• Telephone support for customers

Aftercare Support

• Assist Service Manager where necessary.

• Support Training Department.

• Support Sales Department – PDI’s etc

• Support Service Department when required.

• Handing new machines over with Sales.

• Working at our customer’s sites and in-house.

• Research and development tasks.

• Remedial works with service when required

• Visiting customers helping and advising regarding spare parts.

• Complete written and computer-based reports

Qualifications/ Experience: At least 3 years’ demonstrable experience working within the suction excavator industry.

Performance Standards: Comply with all aspects of the company policies and follow published procedures where applicable. Maintain a culture of best practice within the division by attending training courses, both internal and external when and where required.

Skills and Attributes Required: Working as part of a team nationwide, self-motivation and team working are essential. This role involves a high proportion of working alone as well as supporting and being supported by the company’s existing team. Flexibility within this role is paramount, with the ability to adopt working hours to accommodate priorities and/or business requirements. This will involve working throughout the UK with nights away from time to time.
