Responsibilities

  • Work 1:1 after school with a child alongside another carer, accessing the community
  • Provide high-quality support tailored to each person’s individual needs
  • Assist with personal care (e.g. continence)
  • Help with meals, drinks and snacks
  • Support with medication
  • Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for the children you support
  • A kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care
  • Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
  • Ability to follow care plans
  • Previous care experience with Autism is beneficial
