Support worker – Children’s Residential Home

Senior Support worker £15 per hour. Junior support worker £13.50 per hour.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Support Workers. In this vital role, you will provide essential care and assistance, empowering children to live fulfilling and independent lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist children with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and mobility.
• Provide emotional support, companionship, and encouragement.
• Support minors in accessing social activities and engaging with their community.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and other professionals.

Requirements

• Senior support workers need NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care OR NVQ Level 5 in Adult care.
• No qualification is needed for junior support workers but experience is desirable.
• Experience as a care/support worker in a residential children’s home.
• A genuine desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability, patience, and a compassionate approach.
• The legal right to work in the UK.
• DBS Pass.
