Technical Systems Manager (18 Month FTC)

Are you an experienced food industry professional with a passion for quality, compliance, and continuous improvement? This is an exciting opportunity to join Mizkan Euro as a Technical Systems Manager, playing a key role in maintaining high standards across our food manufacturing operations.

The Role
This is a hands-on, technical role where you will be responsible for ensuring all products, processes, and systems meet legal, customer, and certification standards,
Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining and developing site QMS & HACCP systems
Leading and supporting internal and external audits (e.g. BRC, customer audits)
Driving food safety and quality standards across the site
Managing technical compliance activities including pest control, testing, and calibration
Supporting customer requirements, specifications, and technical queries
Investigating complaints and leading root cause analysis
Delivering training to site teams and embedding a strong quality culture
Collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, Procurement, NPD and Commercial teams.
What We’re Looking for:
Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology or similar (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience within a technical, quality, or compliance role in food manufacturing (ideally 5+ years)
Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety systems, allergen management, and traceability
Experience with BRCGS, ISO, or major retailer audits
Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
Desirable
Experience with retailer technical systems
Knowledge of labelling legislation and nutrition
Familiarity with continuous improvement tools and root cause analysis techniques
