About the Support Worker Role
As a Support Worker at Compassionate Care Ltd, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to our clients. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing their independence and quality of life, making a meaningful difference in their daily experiences.
Our clients vary from the elderly to adults with learning difficulties, and you will be offering a supportive ear, calm presence whilst still bringing an element of fun into their daily activities and needs.
The role will be extremely varied, here’s a few ideas of what you might get up to:
- Assisting with daily routines, including mornings, lunchtimes and evenings
- Providing personal care to those who require it
- Offering companionship and attending social activities such as museum trips, football matches, meals out and visits to the gym.
- Preparing meals
- Assisting with medication
- Light cleaning and household duties
The essentials for a Support Worker are:
- You will have a kind nature and good communication
- Good listening skills and a willingness to learn
- A genuine desire to make a real difference in people’s lives
- You will need to demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude, person-centred values, energy and commitment to providing an exceptional quality service
- Full clean driving licence and access to a car is essential
- Full eligibility to work in the United Kingdom (Sponsorship not Provided)
