The Role

From internationally recognised awards programmes and industry partnerships to editor dinners, wine tastings and exclusive member experiences, we’re looking for someone to help shape the next generation of Business Traveller events and experiences.
Based in London and reporting to the Managing Director, the Global Events & Experiences Manager will lead the planning and delivery of our growing international portfolio, overseeing every stage from concept and planning through to flawless execution.
Working closely with editorial, commercial and leadership teams, you’ll create experiences that reflect the quality, credibility and ambition of the Business Traveller brand while bringing together readers, members, partners and senior figures from across the travel industry.
Alongside our established events programme, you’ll play an important role in developing new formats and exclusive experiences that strengthen engagement with our audience and continue to evolve what Business Traveller represents beyond its editorial platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of Business Traveller’s global events and experiences calendar.
- Deliver flagship awards ceremonies and seek opportunities at conferences and industry events to the highest possible standard.
- Develop and launch new member experiences, including editor dinners, wine tastings, networking events and curated digital-first travel experiences.
- Create new concepts and formats that strengthen engagement with readers, members and commercial partners.
- Identify opportunities for partnerships, collaborations and experiences that enhance the Business Traveller brand.
- Work closely with editorial, commercial and leadership teams to ensure every event and experience aligns with the wider vision and objectives of the business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, partners, venues and suppliers around the world.
- Manage budgets, production schedules and project delivery with meticulous attention to detail, working closely with our sales teams to maximise commerciality.
- Oversee every aspect of planning and on-site delivery.
- Gather attendee and partner feedback to continually refine and improve future events and experiences.
- Support speaking opportunities, partnerships and external engagements involving Business Traveller’s editorial and leadership teams.
- Travel internationally as required to deliver and support events and experiences.
About You
You’ll already have experience delivering both large-scale events and smaller, highly curated experiences, with the organisational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
You’re comfortable taking ownership, making decisions and operating with autonomy, while remaining collaborative and approachable with colleagues, partners and suppliers alike.
You’ll bring fresh ideas, think commercially and understand that exceptional experiences are built on careful planning, strong relationships and flawless execution.
