You will work individually with clients, one‑on‑one, providing a variety of non‑medical services that allow you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes. Responsibilities

• Social companionship
• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6+ months caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons is preferred
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer’s care is a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by the state)
• Proof of current, negative tuberculosis (TB) test
• Must be physically able to lift, push, and pull approximately 25 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; proof of valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
• Ability to travel 15 miles for any scheduled shifts
• A compassionate heart for older adults
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual, and reliable

Compensation: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
