Connected Car Validation Engineer

Expleo is recruiting for a Connected Car Validation Engineer to support our global automotive client based in Bedfordshire, as part of a contract to deliver the most distinct and innovative range of road vehicles equipped with state‑of‑the‑art technology.

If you have a background in Connected Car Test / Validation, Mobile testing, App testing, Cloud testing, or Browser testing, this could be the role for you.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end vehicle validation for connected car services.
• Ensure test resources are available to complete validation tasks.
• Raise incident tickets in the incident management system and track them through to closure.
• Follow testing methods and procedures to ensure robust validation of the complete telematics systems.
• Confirm vehicle-level quality, function, and reliability standards are maintained.
• Conduct root cause investigation.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in problem‑solving tools and techniques.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in Connected Car Test / Validation.
• Skilled in Mobile testing, App testing, Cloud testing, or Browser testing.
• Competent with PC applications including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Ability to prioritise and multitask between multiple projects.
• Self‑motivating and self‑managing.
• Python and OMS query skills.
• A valid UK or European driving licence and the ability to travel abroad, sometimes at short notice.
