You’ll play a vital part in ensuring service users receive a reliable, friendly and high-quality service.**The Role**As a Laundry Driver, you will be responsible for the delivery and collection of laundry from service users across Milton Keynes, helping maintain their independence and wellbeing.**Key Responsibilities*** Collecting and delivering laundry to and from service users’ homes across Milton Keynes* Providing a courteous and professional service, building positive relationships with residents* Maintaining accurate records relating to collections, deliveries and vehicle use* Ensuring the vehicle is kept clean, safe and well-maintained, reporting any issues as required* Liaising with contractors regarding vehicle maintenance where necessary* Adhering to all health & safety, safeguarding and council procedures* Acting as a positive representative of Milton Keynes City Council at all times**What We’re Looking For*** **A full UK driving licence (essential)*** Strong communication and customer service skills* Good organisational and time management abilities* High attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records* A caring, reliable and professional approach when working with vulnerable individuals* Willingness to undertake training and follow procedures**Why Apply?**This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference within the local community.
