VMware Virtualisation Engineer – Nottingham – VMware, Horizon VDI, Windows Server, HPE – SC Cleared
TrinIT Talent are looking for a VMware Virtualisation Engineer to join a contract until 31 March 2027, based in Nottingham, working 5 days per week. The role is Inside Scope of IR35 and pays up to £400 per day.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be heavily project-focused, delivering and supporting critical virtualisation and infrastructure platforms within a secure environment. Whilst the role is predominantly project-based, there will be occasions where BAU support, troubleshooting and supplier engagement will be required.

- Active SC Clearance
- Expert-level VMware vSphere experience
- Expert-level VMware Horizon VDI experience
- Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016 & 2019
- Active Directory
- HPE Server Infrastructure
- Datacentre Management
- Basic Networking Knowledge
- Experience delivering infrastructure projects
- HPE Synergy (Desirable)
- SCCM (Desirable)
- Willingness to participate in an on‑call rota (1 week in every 4)
