Summary
Performs preventative maintenance, repairs, initial troubleshooting, and inspections on a variety of building systems and components and on a variety of equipment and devices used in clinical and non‑clinical areas. May have concentration or specialty in a particular trade such as carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical. The technical extent of work will not require licensure or certification unless under the direct supervision of a qualified and licensed technician.
Minimum Education
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Work Experience
- 1‑year experience in facility maintenance and operations (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or finished carpentry) preferred.
Required Licenses & Certifications
- Maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Completion of endorsed patient/visitor de‑escalation and restraint program certification (required within 1 month of hire).
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Demonstrated safe work practices in trades.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer’s instructions.
- Basic Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills.

$19.97 – $29.09
