HGV Class 2 Driver

Position

Thrive Oldham is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers in the Middleton Area.

Work Details

Ad‑hoc ongoing with potential Temp to Perm.

Rate of pay: £14.50 per hour. Hours: 6.30 am – finish, Monday to Friday. Location: Middleton.

Purpose of the job

You will provide safe and effective delivery of goods from Middleton to various locations including Newcastle, Birmingham, and Derby.

Responsibilities

• Undertake vehicle checks each morning and report any defects.
• Work as part of a team.
• Ensure the highest level of customer care is maintained.
• Work may include more than one location.
• Assist in loading the vehicle if needed.

Requirements

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence.
• Hold a CPC and Digi‑Tacho.
• Knowledge of current transport regulations.
• Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism.
• Polite and friendly manner at all times.
• Ability to drive in all weather conditions.
