Join us in supporting candidates through their Army recruitment journey at the Army’s National Recruiting Centre. As a Candidate Support Coordinator, you’ll be the vital link between regional recruiters and candidates, guiding individuals through each stage of the recruitment process with empathy, clarity and purpose.

Full-time, fixed-term contract until 31st March 2027 (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

What you’ll be doing

  • support candidates throughout their British Army recruitment journey with empathy and clarity
  • keep candidate records up to date with clear and accurate notes in the internal system
  • take ownership of your performance targets and strive to exceed expectations
  • suggest improvements to enhance candidate experience and internal processes
  • collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • provide timely support to regional recruiters to ensure a smooth recruitment process

What we’re looking for

Essential Skills

  • confident communicator with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • confident using digital systems and updating records accurately
  • proactive mindset with a focus on delivering excellent candidate experience

Desirable Skills

  • understanding of the British Army recruitment process
  • familiarity with CRM or applicant tracking systems
  • ability to suggest and implement process improvements
