Fawkes and Reece are assisting one of the UK’s leading fit-out specialists who have an energetic, ambitious team delivering high profile Cat A and Cat B commercial interiors. The company are currently delivering a major £250 million traditional fit-out and the team are growing. They are seeking an intermediate project Quantity Surveyor who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who is ready to contribute to award-winning work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial delivery of Cat A & Cat B fit-out projects (£5m to £30m, with some up to £50m)
- Work closely with project managers, clients and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective and high quality delivery
- Oversee subcontractor procurement,contract administration, valuations and variations
- Provide accurate forecasting, cost reporting, and budget management
Skills & Experience Required
- 3 – 8 year’s experience in Quantity Surveying within commercial build
- Strong contractual and commercial knowledge (NEC, JCT etc.)
- Background working with either main or subcontractors
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Self-driven and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
