We are seeking an Electrical Project Coordinator to join a well‑established, rapidly growing construction business based in Peterborough. The role involves delivering electrical solutions across major projects including data centres, universities, and healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend project start‑up meetings and review project specifications
- Coordinate labour, materials, and resources across multiple sites
- Produce and submit regular progress reports
- Monitor project budgets and support purchasing activities
- Track project performance and programme delivery
- Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Ensure materials are ordered and delivered in line with project timelines
- Attend site meetings where required
- Assist with preparing and submitting quotations for new works
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Project Coordinator or Project Management role
- Strong background within the electrical sector
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, changing environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Experience supervising or coordinating site teams
- High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving ability
- Resilient and adaptable to shifting project demands
Desirable
- Knowledge of plumbing, particularly in relation to temporary works
