Role Overview

We are seeking a Director, Markets & Commercial Growth to design and lead the Markets & Commercial Growth operating model for the EMEA Tax practice. This role partners closely with regional and global Tax leadership, country leaders, and go-to-market teams to drive sustainable growth and combines strategic leadership with hands‑on delivery in a complex, matrixed professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning
    • Develop a deep understanding of A&M Tax’s value proposition and market positioning
    • Partner with leadership to define growth priorities, annual Markets & Commercial Growth plans, targets, and go‑to‑market strategies
    • Support multi‑year growth plans, key account strategies, and new market/service opportunities
  • Markets & Commercial Growth Operations
    • Establish and lead the EMEA Markets & Commercial Growth operating model, including processes, governance, reporting and CRM (e.g. Salesforce) adoption
    • Drive pipeline management, forecasting accuracy and performance visibility
    • Enhance tools, content and support infrastructure to improve commercial outcomes
  • Pursuit & Client Development
    • Oversee end‑to‑end commercial activity, including opportunity prioritisation, positioning, proposal development and post‑pursuit reviews
    • Develop and maintain high‑quality client materials (credentials, case studies, thought leadership)
    • Support client listening, market insight and feedback loops to inform growth strategy
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Build strong relationships across global and regional Markets & Commercial Growth, marketing and Tax teams
    • Act as a connector across country and functional leadership to ensure alignment and execution
    • Support relationship mapping, client engagement activities and targeted campaigns

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in markets, commercial growth, sales or marketing leadership within professional services (consulting preferred), with strong EMEA exposure
  • Proven track record building or leading a Markets & Commercial Growth function or operating model
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders in complex, matrixed organisations
  • Strong knowledge of consultative selling, pursuit management, CRM systems, and commercial best practices
