Applications Manager

PERM | APPLICATIONS MANAGER | PERMANENT | UP TO £75K | LONDON (HYBRID – 3 DAYS ONSITE)

I’m working with a leading specialty insurance organisation undergoing a major IT transformation into a product-led model.

They’re looking for an Applications Manager to take ownership of a suite of critical enterprise systems, working closely with senior stakeholders and managing vendors to drive service quality and performance.

Role Details

• Service management across business-critical applications (policy admin, content & document management)
• Managing offshore vendors/partners and holding them accountable to SLAs
• Acting as a key bridge between engineering leads, business units & IT
• Leading on P1/P2 incident resolution, driving stability and continuous improvement

What they’re looking for

• Strong Application/Service Management experience (3-5 years+)
• Proven vendor & offshore management experience
• Solid background in specialty/London Market insurance
• Experience with ServiceNow & Azure DevOps & Verisk
• Ability to operate in high-pressure environments with senior stakeholders (Head/Director level)
• Prior line management/leadership of hybrid teams

Nice to have

• Exposure to Guidewire, Newgen, ImageRight or similar platforms
• Understanding of Agile/product-led environments
• Awareness of AWS and modern delivery practices
