Job Summary
We are recruiting an Audit Semi Senior to join a leading accountancy practice in Walsall. The role involves planning and executing audit assignments, preparing audit files, and maintaining strong client relationships while supporting the team’s growth and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Participate in planning and conducting audit assignments
- Perform detailed testing of audit areas and identify areas of improvement
- Prepare audit files, financial statements, and management reports
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of audits
- Develop and maintain effective client relationships
- Stay up to date with relevant accounting and auditing standards
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of audit experience within an accountancy practice
- Working towards ACA/ACCA qualification
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work
- Proficient in audit software and MS Office applications
