7.5T / HGV2 Driver
Location: Glenrothes, Fife
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00/07:30am – 5:00pm
Contract: Long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent
Are you an experienced 7.5T or HGV2 Driver looking for a long-term opportunity with a well-established company? Manpower is currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Glenrothes for reliable and professional drivers to join their busy operation delivering building supplies to both commercial and residential customers.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position. The role offers regular weekday hours, weekly pay, and the support and benefits of working through Manpower. Please note, this role involves more than just driving. Drivers will be responsible for delivering products safely and efficiently, assisting with unloading and handballing goods, and providing excellent customer service at every delivery point.
The Role
- Delivering building materials and supplies to commercial and residential customers
- Multi-drop deliveries across Fife and surrounding areas
- Assisting with the unloading and handballing of products
- Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
- Providing a professional and customer-focused service
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
Candidate Requirements
- Valid Category C1 licence or above (7.5T, HGV2 or HGV1)
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum of 6 penalty points
- No DR, DD or IN conviction codes accepted
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience is advantageous
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable and professional approach to work
