Job Summary
We are recruiting a Senior Research Nurse/Midwife to support the delivery and growth of our research portfolio at St James Hospital, Leeds Teaching Hospitals.
Location & Contract
Location: St James Hospital, Leeds Teaching Hospitals.Contract: Full time (1.0 WTE), permanent.
Main Duties
- Coordinating and delivering complex clinical trials exploring new clinical pathways and treatments.
- Ensuring clinical governance standards and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) requirements are consistently upheld.
- Managing a team of registered and unregistered staff, providing leadership, support, and oversight.
- Responsibility for finance of the portfolio.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experienced nurse or midwife with a strong research background.
- Knowledge of national research regulations, Trust policies, and study protocols.
- Experience in clinical trial coordination and management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
Person Specification
Strong communication skills, proactive, self‑motivated, and dedicated to high standards in clinical care.
Professional Development & Support
