Refuse Loader – Little Canfield Dunmow
Pay rate: £13.69 per hour
Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 7am to 5pm (4 day week, ongoing agency work)
Are you looking for reliable work, early starts, and a role that keeps you active? We are recruiting on behalf of the local council’s waste management department for Refuse Loaders to join their hardworking team in Little Canfield, Dunmow.
As a Refuse Loader you will be a key part of the crew, helping to keep the community clean and safe. This is a physical role where no two days are the same, and you will be working outdoors in all weathers.
What you’ll be doing
- Collecting household waste and recycling across the area.
- Working as part of a close-knit team of refuse loaders and drivers.
- Handling bins, bags and containers safely and efficiently.
- Supporting the smooth running of daily waste management operations.
What we’re looking for
- Good physical health and fitness, as this is a physically demanding role.
- Team players with a positive attitude and willingness to work outdoors.
- Previous experience as a refuse loader, waste operative, bin loader or recycling operative would be an advantage, but not essential.
