In this role, you will:
- Support the operation and delivery of the Council’s automation and AI governance, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Copilot.
- Carry out administration of governance processes, ensuring onboarding, approvals, controls and documentation are completed consistently and accurately.
- Maintain and configure Power Platform Admin Centre in line with agreed governance arrangements.
- Apply and manage data loss prevention (DLP) policies and other platform controls to support secure and compliant use.
- Maintain accurate records of environments, automations and AI-enabled assets, ensuring information is suitable for audit and assurance purposes.
- Monitor platform usage, compliance indicators, adoption trends and licensing data using Power Platform Admin Centre tooling, identifying issues and escalating where required.
- Produce management information and reports to support assurance, governance and decision making.
- Work with Cyber Security, Information Governance and ICT teams to ensure risks are identified and managed appropriately.
- Support continuous improvement of automation and AI governance processes, documentation and ways of working.
- Investigate issues and support resolution, escalating where needed.
- Contribute to policy, standards and process development relating to automation and AI.

- Experience working with or supporting an automation and AI governance function, or similar capability.
- Awareness of Microsoft Power Platform Admin Centre or similar technologies.
- Experience working alongside Cyber Security or Information Governance teams.
- Understanding of public sector or local authority environments.
- Evidence of self-directed learning or developing skills in new technologies or tools.
