The Role

We are seeking a passionate and committed Year 5 Teacher to join one of our supportive and inclusive primary schools from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching and learning and inspiring pupils to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Use assessment effectively to track progress and inform teaching
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals
  • Uphold and promote the school’s values and safeguarding procedures

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience desirable but not essential)
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and high expectations for behaviour and attainment
  • Be reflective, organised, and committed to professional development
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be enthusiastic, flexible, and a team player
