About The Role
As part of the body restoration team, you will carry out full car shell restorations using donor vehicles. Responsibilities include MIG & TIG welding, cutting and replacing corrosion areas, steel fabrication and sheet metal work (1–2 mm thickness), panel forming, restoration, and fitting and welding roll cages to the highest standards.
The Ideal Person
- Highly skilled automotive fabricator welder with extensive hands‑on experience in automotive fabrication and welding.
- Ability to work to extremely tight tolerances and strong proficiency in steel fabrication and thin gauge sheet metal work (1–2 mm); expertise in MIG & TIG welding.
- Background in rally car or competition preparation, motorsport bench welding, and experience in restorations and donor vehicles.
- Keen eye for detail and ability to deliver a high‑quality finish.
