Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team, supporting the care, development, and learning of nursery and infant‑aged pupils to start in September 2026. This role plays a key part in the day‑to‑day running of the classroom, helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contributing to the delivery of a broad and balanced range of learning experiences.
  • Promoting the wellbeing of pupils at all times.
  • Building positive relationships with parents and external professionals.

What skills and experience we’re looking for

  • Is passionate about early years education and child development
  • Has strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Is nurturing, proactive and reflective in their practice
  • Holds (or is working towards) a relevant Level 3 qualification

Further details of the role include supporting a high‑quality learning environment by helping to plan and deliver a broad range of activities in line with the EYFS framework, and maintaining a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom. You will support children’s development and wellbeing through observation, assessment, and building positive relationships with parents, while promoting independence and inclusion. The role also involves contributing to classroom organisation and routines, working with external professionals where needed, and ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of all children at all times.
