Electro Mechanical Assembler – Cambridge – £29,000 per annum.

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (initial 3-month contract). Hours: 39 hours per week (flexitime, Monday to Friday).

The Opportunity

Service Service is recruiting for an Electro Mechanical Assembler on behalf of a well-established engineering manufacturer in Cambridge. This is an initial 3-month opportunity, ideal for someone with hands‑on assembly experience looking to join a structured and quality-focused production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble electro‑mechanical products using provided documentation and tools
• Carry out soldering and crimping of cables and PCB assemblies
• Update works order systems accurately
• Maintain tools and equipment, reporting any requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives

About You

• Experience in electro‑mechanical or electronic assembly
• Confident with soldering and cable/PCB work
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Able to follow technical instructions and documentation
• Team player with a proactive approach
