WHAT THIS ROLE IS

Partnerships Manager

Lead and scale Threefold’s B2B2B partner channel — a commercially mature network of energy brokers, sustainability consultants and procurement specialists — already generating live pipeline from day one. This is a senior individual contributor role with clear scope to shape how Threefold grows through third-party channels. You will own partner relationships end-to-end, drive adoption of the Threefold Partnership Programme and Portal, and convert partner-originated opportunities into qualified revenue.

Key Responsibilities

· Own Threefold’s B2B2B partner channel, maintaining and deepening relationships with energy brokers, sustainability consultants and installers to drive active engagement with the Partnership Programme.

· Position Threefold’s battery optimisation solutions confidently within partner client portfolios, acting as the primary commercial contact for the channel.

· Lead end-to-end onboarding of new partners onto the Threefold Partnership Portal, ensuring commercial readiness and a clear path to first opportunity submission.

· Act as the voice of the partner channel internally — feeding structured insight to product and portal development teams to drive continuous improvement of the platform and appraisal workflow.

· Review and process energy appraisals submitted through the portal, interpreting site profiles and translating outcomes into clear commercial narratives for partners and their clients.

· Ensure partners are fully equipped with up-to-date sales materials and accurate market positioning, maintaining the integrity of Threefold’s brand in the channel.

· Maintain a structured, consistent engagement cadence across the partner base, proactively identifying new opportunities and resolving friction points.

· Ensure appropriate commercial and contractual frameworks are in place across all partner relationships, working with Legal and Operations as required.

· Coordinate clean, well-documented handovers of qualified partner leads to the Business Development team, maintaining momentum and conversion quality.

· Represent Threefold in the market and at relevant industry events, building the company’s profile within the broker and procurement community.

· Identify and engage prospective new partners, running the full onboarding process from initial conversation through to first live submission.

· Support partners throughout their client sales process, including attending client calls and site visits where this adds commercial value.

Success Measures

· Partner engagement: a structured, measurable cadence of touchpoints driving both pipeline generation and conversion across the partner base.

· Pipeline contribution: volume and quality of partner-originated opportunities progressing to qualified leads and closed revenue.

· Appraisal throughput: timely, accurate processing of partner-submitted energy appraisals with clear, commercially useful output for partners and their clients.

· Partner experience: consistently high satisfaction scores, smooth onboarding, and actionable feedback flowing into product and portal improvements.

· Commercial readiness: consistent, accurate positioning across the partner base with full adoption of approved materials and processes.

· Legal / Operations (partner contracting and commercial frameworks)

· Marketing – to co ordingate new collaroate, explaininer and supporting content to generate.

Core Skills and Behaviours

· Senior relationship management: proven ability to build and sustain high-value commercial relationships with external partners in a B2B or B2B2B environment.

· Commercial communication: able to translate a technical product into compelling commercial language for a range of partner and client audiences.

· Operational discipline: comfortable owning and improving structured workflows — onboarding, appraisal processing, lead handover — at scale.

· Analytical thinking: confident interpreting energy appraisals and site data, and translating outputs into clear commercial implications for non-technical audiences.

· Internal influence: able to capture partner insight and communicate it with credibility to product, marketing and leadership teams.

Tools and Systems

· Partnership Portal – Kiflo.

· Threefold OS (Notion) for role documentation and operating system references

· HubSpot (or commercial CRM) for lead/opportunity tracking and handover coordination

· Various internally developed Threefold systems and workflow tools.

Ideal Profile

· Background in the energy sector — energy broking, procurement, or a consultancy serving commercial energy buyers — is strongly preferred.

· Genuinely motivated by the energy transition and the role distributed battery storage plays within it.

Compensation and Growth

· £75,000 base salary + commission + performance bonus, with OTE of £100,000 for a strong first year. Package structured to reward channel performance directly.

· This is a senior individual contributor role with a clear commercial mandate and direct visibility to the Sales Director and leadership team. Strong performance creates a natural path to channel leadership as Threefold scales.
