ROLE PROFILE

The Senior Enterprise Tools Engineer will be a key member of the Engineering organization, responsible for designing and developing integrations across the Enterprise Tools ecosystem to enable seamless data flow, analytics, and AI‑driven solutions across the enterprise. The role blends REST API‑based integrations, data engineering fundamentals, and AI automation to streamline information exchange and improve decision intelligence across platforms.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Crafting, building, and maintaining REST API‑based integrations across enterprise platforms to support unified data sharing and workflow automation
  • Architecting and implementing middleware or service‑layer solutions (e.g., Dell Boomi, Kafka, API Gateways) to support scalable, event‑driven integrations
  • Developing data pipelines and integration patterns that enable GenAI solutions, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation across the tool stack
  • Collaborating with multi‑functional teams to ensure data consistency, reliability, and accessibility across enterprise systems
  • Maintaining high standards of security, performance, and observability in all integration solutions
  • Working with the LSEG Architecture group to define potential technology solutions and ensure adherence to architectural principles
  • Collaborating with business and functional leads to socialize technology projects and obtain cross‑functional approvals from Legal, Group Risk, Compliance, LCH Ltd/LCH SA

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • REST API & Integration Engineering
  • Integration patterns: synchronous/asynchronous, event‑driven, webhooks, retries, idempotency
  • API security (OAuth2, JWT, API Gateways, mTLS)
  • Experience with middleware, messaging and service‑layer technologies such as Dell Boomi, Kafka, Azure Integration Services or similar
  • Hands‑on experience with AI and data foundations, including integration of AI services, LLMs, and analytics platforms, and a strong background delivering GenAI/LLM‑led solutions
  • Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Working knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence), project‑management tools (Clarity, Planview) and ServiceNow
  • Stakeholder management and reporting frameworks
  • Proven experience with software development lifecycles and agile methodologies
  • Highly organized communicator with strong planning, stakeholder management, and global collaboration experience, confident in challenging assumptions and engaging optimally at all organizational levels
