Keltbray is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager with a façade and cladding background to support delivery across major commercial schemes in Central London. Working closely with the project and contracts teams, this role will take ownership of on‑site façade and external envelope works, while supporting wider project delivery including M&E interfaces. The position requires a hands‑on, delivery‑focused individual with a solid understanding of Principal Contractor responsibilities and site‑based leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day on‑site delivery of façade and cladding packages, ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to the required quality.
- Oversee installation of façade systems including curtain walling, rainscreen, glazing, SFS and associated external envelope works.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and design requirements.
- Monitor progress against programme and drive productivity to achieve key milestones.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health, safety and compliance standards under Principal Contractor responsibilities.
- Coordinate interfaces between façade, structural and M&E works to ensure smooth integration on site.
- Review drawings, specifications and method statements, identifying and resolving buildability and sequencing issues.
- Carry out quality inspections, snagging and oversee handover of façade packages.
- Maintain clear communication with project management, commercial and design teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager delivering façade/cladding packages on live construction projects.
- Knowledge of façade systems including curtain walling, rainscreen, glazing and external envelope solutions.
- Demonstrable experience supervising and managing site‑based delivery of façade works.
- Background working for Tier 1 contractors or specialist façade/cladding subcontractors.
- Good all‑round construction knowledge with the ability to coordinate and work alongside M&E activities.
- Experience working under Principal Contractor duties on complex construction sites.
- Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to drive programme and maintain quality standards.
