Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client’s innovative team working at the forefront of aerospace and defence technology. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting‑edge engineering projects within a highly regulated, fast‑paced and technically challenging environment, where your work will directly support complex mechanical systems and mechanisms.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience working in highly regulated industries, ideally aerospace or space
• Strong understanding of structural and/or thermal analysis and FE modelling
• Proficiency in CAD for mechanical design and analysis tools for structural, thermal or mathematical modelling
• Familiarity with mechanisms such as gears, motors or actuation systems
• Hands‑on experience with prototyping, testing and system build/assembly
• Strong communication skills with proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
