This permanent position offers a highly attractive Monday to Thursday night rota, providing an enviable three‑day weekend every week.

Responsibilities
- Work a Monday to Thursday night rota (8:00pm – 8:00am shifts) as sole‑charge Night Veterinary Surgeon
- Manage a diverse clinical workload, including emergency and critical care cases, first opinion consultations, emergency surgical procedures, small furry medicine, advanced orthopaedic procedures and inpatient/overnight case management
- Work with an experienced Night RVN for full overnight support
- Contribute to a supportive and collaborative team environment with 6 veterinary surgeons, 4 RVNs and 5 Student Veterinary Nurses
- Participate in ongoing professional development and specialist certificates (dentistry, cardiology, schedule 3 procedures, ECC nursing)

Candidate Requirements
- RCVS‑registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Experience in emergency, critical care, or hospital environments
- Comfortable working as sole‑charge night surgeon
- Enjoys emergency medicine, inpatient care, and varied caseloads
- Confident and experienced in small animal surgery and medicine
