Overview

Investment Management Lawyer – Private Practice Law Firm – London. Funds Associate – Asset Management Practice – Elite US Law Firm – London. A premier US law firm is seeking a Funds Associate to join its asset management team in London, advising a diverse client base including globally recognised institutions and start-ups.

The successful candidate will advise on the structuring, establishment, and reorganisation of investment vehicles across a broad spectrum of asset classes and fund types. The team supports mainstream and alternative sectors, including real asset and credit funds, retail mutual funds, UK-listed investment companies, REITs, structured products, private equity, and hedge funds.

Responsibilities

  • Advise asset managers on general corporate and regulatory issues affecting their operations and product offerings.
  • Support institutional investors on private fund investments and secondary sales.
  • Assist with launching new businesses and financial products, from concept through to execution.
  • Navigate complex fund structuring and compliance challenges across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in funds work, gained at a leading UK law firm.
  • Genuine interest in the asset management industry.
