Assistant General Manager – Vietnam

Responsibilities:

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the candle manufacturing facility in Thanh Nam Ward, Ninh Binh Province, serving a workforce of 1,200 to 1,600.
• Oversee production engineering and operations, resolving day‑to‑day production problems.
• Ensure deliverables meet target timeframes and quality standards.
• Monitor order planning, administration, production and logistics.
• Assess production efficiency and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide leadership on strategic objectives, manpower planning, cost accounting and cost control.
• Initiate annual production plan, setting goals, objectives, strategies and budget for growth.
• Develop training and educational programs for production staff.

Qualifications:

• High diploma or higher in factory production or related discipline.
• ~10 years experience managing factory production.
• Strong knowledge of production machine engineering.
• Strategic and analytical thinking for production improvement.
• Excellent organizational, management and project management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities, self‑motivated, detail oriented, cost conscious, able to work under pressure.
• Proficient in English, Putonghua, Cantonese; Vietnamese a plus.
• Knowledge of candle production a plus.
• Experience with WOFE business operations in Vietnam a plus.
• In‑depth knowledge of IBM AS/400 System a plus.

Location: Thanh Nam Ward, Ninh Binh Province, Vietnam. Position is stationed in Vietnam.
