Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with experience working on Substation / Transmission / Transformer / Power or similar projects? We provide front end engineering services for a varied client base working on National Grid projects. We have been undergoing an exciting period of expansion since our establishment in 2021, and are looking to grow our friendly design team.
In this role you will be part of a team working on specialist protection & control projects. Your day‑to‑day work will primarily involve design work of schematics, cable blocks and diagrams in addition to preparing bills of materials and design intent documents. You will be part of a tight‑knit team and will liaise closely with other departments and clients, working primarily in office, with some client visitation and occasional WFH.
The Role
- Be part of a team carrying out end‑to‑end project work on P&C projects
- Schematic, cable block and diagram design
- Prepare bill of materials and design intent documents
- Full training provided
- Primarily office based with occasional client visitation and WFH
The Person
- Electrical Design Engineer or similar
- Background in Power Systems / Transmission / Transformer / Substation or similar projects
- Commutable to Newcastle
