Information, Donations & Audience Engagement Volunteers
We are looking for volunteers to support information tables, assist guests with donations, help with mailing list sign‑ups, support QR‑code registrations, and answer basic event and charity‑related questions.
What you will get out of volunteering for us
In the UK we promote Holocaust education and awareness by sponsoring an annual seminar for UK teachers and informal educators at the International School of Holocaust Studies at Yad Vashem; we promote Yad Vashem’s educational philosophy through our unique travelling exhibitions, learning resources, and through the use of Yad Vashem educators and public speakers; and we remember the faceless victims of the Holocaust through our Guardian of the Memory Campaign and our Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah twinning projects.
Other Volunteer Opportunities
- Welcoming guests on arrival, giving directions, and supporting audience.
- Managing coat check‑in, issuing tickets, maintaining organisation.
- Checking guest lists, scanning tickets, distributing VIP wristbands.
- Assisting with stage setup, supporting musicians backstage.
- Providing support wherever needed, assisting VIP guests.
- Supporting information tables, assisting guests with donations, helping with mailing list sign‑ups.
- Providing online tutoring for Israeli children.
- Packaging and delivering food parcels for vulnerable children.
- Supporting food banks in North London by providing food, toiletries and household goods.
- Helping children prepare educational sessions for school.
- Providing support to visually impaired clients in their own homes.
- Coordinating volunteer events across London boroughs.
