Senior Analyst, Ad Strategy (Fixed-Term Contract)

The Opportunity

A leading global media and entertainment business is seeking a Senior Analyst, Ad Strategy to join its growing international advertising team. Following the successful expansion of its ad-supported streaming offering across numerous international markets, the organisation is entering its next phase of growth, focused on maximising monetisation, advertising performance, and long-term value creation.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role suited to someone with a strong background in advertising, ad technology, programmatic ecosystems, and strategic analysis. The successful candidate will work on commercially significant challenges, helping shape decision-making across international markets while delivering clear, executive-level insights and recommendations.

Based in London, the role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Data, and Regional Business teams, supporting senior leadership during a pivotal period of expansion and optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

International Advertising Strategy

  • Support strategic analysis across multiple international markets, taking into account varying levels of market maturity, regulatory environments, and advertiser sophistication.
  • Develop market frameworks, comparative analyses, and recommendations to inform global and local business decisions.
  • Contribute to product prioritisation and strategic planning activities aligned with commercial objectives.

Executive Insights & Communication

  • Create clear, concise, and executive-ready presentations, reports, and strategic documents.
  • Translate complex data and analysis into compelling narratives and actionable recommendations.
  • Support ad hoc strategic projects and deep-dive analyses as business needs arise.

Programmatic & Advertising Ecosystem Expertise

  • Apply strong knowledge of programmatic advertising, ad technology, and the wider digital advertising ecosystem to strategic initiatives.
  • Assess industry developments and market dynamics, identifying implications for advertising products, audience strategy, and monetisation opportunities.
  • Provide insight into targeting, measurement, audience activation, and advertising data capabilities.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • 3-5+ years’ experience within advertising, ad technology, programmatic, media strategy, or related environments.
  • Experience gained in consulting, corporate strategy, analytics, commercial strategy, or other structured problem-solving roles.
  • Strong understanding of programmatic advertising and the broader ad tech ecosystem.
  • Exposure to audience strategy, targeting, measurement, or advertising data solutions.
  • Experience working across international or multi-market environments would be advantageous.
  • Background within a publisher, platform, ad tech provider, agency, advertiser, or media organisation is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and structure complex business challenges.
  • Strong written, visual, and presentation skills, particularly for senior stakeholder audiences.
  • Collaborative approach with experience partnering across product, data, commercial, and cross-functional teams.
  • Pragmatic, commercially focused mindset with a strong bias towards impact and delivery.
