You must have a valid, accredited and in-date B3 Counterbalance licence for this role (15,00kg+). We cannot accept standard Counterbalance licences (5,000kg).
Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced B3 Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy and fast-paced operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator, particularly those with experience handling aluminium or steel products, to work within a well-established and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a B3 Counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials within the warehouse and yard
- Handling long, heavy, or awkward loads such as aluminium or steel stock
- Ensuring all goods are stored correctly and safely
- Assisting with goods-in and dispatch operations
- Carrying out routine vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
- Following all health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Valid and in-date B3 Counterbalance forklift licence
- Proven experience operating a counterbalance FLT in a busy environment
- Experience handling aluminium, steel, or other heavy materials (desirable)
- Good awareness of health and safety practices
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
