Production Scheduler – Vitacress Herbs

Sunday – Thursday, 05:30–14:30

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum

We’re looking for two organised, proactive Production Schedulers to join our Herbs team in Ructon. In this fast‑paced production environment, you’ll play a crucial role in coordinating the movement of products through the entire production cycle, ensuring we meet customer delivery expectations and internal targets.

If you’re analytical, confident in using ERP/MRP systems, and enjoy solving problems in a dynamic environment — this role could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

• Schedule and coordinate production lines, considering constraints such as material availability, labor, and engineering requirements.
• Plan and issue shop orders to ensure production meets all deadlines.
• Work with internal teams to forecast and plan production.
• Ensure labor and materials are utilized in the most cost‑effective way.

⚠️ Respond Quickly to Production Issues

• Identify risks early and take action to minimize schedule disruption.
• Provide realistic and timely solutions to production challenges.
• Support and maintain the OEE reporting process.
• Lead follow‑up actions relating to schedule attainment.

Use ERP/MRP Systems to Schedule & Report

• Use IFS (MRP) and internal IT systems to maintain accurate production data.
• Process and adjust production orders, communicating any variances.
• Ensure all processes meet agreed standards and contribute to continuous improvements.
