We are recruiting for the position of HGV Technician on behalf of our client, a well-established and reputable automotive group committed to providing exceptional service and supporting staff development. Performing major and minor repairs on heavy goods vehicles, trailers, and other commercial vehiclesConducting routine inspections, preventative maintenance, including tyre rotations and oil changesDiagnosing vehicle faults accurately and implementing appropriate repairsMaintaining a clean workshop and managing inventory of parts and toolsKeeping detailed records of repairs, inspections, and service historyCarrying out emergency repairs at customer locations when requiredCompleting warranty claims, service documentation, and escalating issues as neededEnsuring compliance with safety standards and regulationsRequirements:

Level 3 (NVQ, City and Guilds, or IMI) qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance or equivalentProven experience working as an HGV Technician or in a similar positionFull UK driving licence relevant to the vehicle classes worked onStrong diagnostic and repair skills with a proactive approach to vehicle maintenanceAbility to identify faults in line with DVSA standardsExcellent communication skills, capable of working effectively within a team and liaising with customersAbility to work accurately within deadlines and maintain detailed recordsIf you are a skilled HGV Technician eager to join a company that values your expertise and invests in your professional growth, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
