TYA Cancer administrative support worker

To deliver and maintain a professional administrative service to the TYA Cancer services and to all its patients, relatives and colleagues. To provide an element of support work in co‑ordinating and delivering internal/external events and activities.
Main duties of the job
Provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support to the TYA team, including managing appointments, clinic bookings, referrals and patient communications. Maintain accurate records and databases, prepare clinic materials and ensure diagnostics and documentation are available in advance of appointments. Liaise with patients, clinical staff and external services to support care delivery, while monitoring inboxes and prioritising queries. Follow procedures, maintain data quality and contribute to service improvement. Support operational tasks, environment upkeep, events and promotional activities alongside general administrative responsibilities.
As per Home Office guidelines, the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this position. Due to Home Office immigration rules, a full‑time permanent vacancy cannot be filled by individuals on a Student visa. Therefore, if you are a Student visa holder, we will not be able to offer you a full‑time permanent contract unless you have: applied for a Graduate visa, or have successfully completed your course and applied for a Graduate visa before the anticipated start date of your employment. This vacancy will close at midnight on 28th June 2026.

Qualifications
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- NVQ level 2 Customer Service / Business Admin / ITQ or equivalent experience
- Typing qualification or equivalent
