About the Role

We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive and dependable Operations & Commercial Coordinator to join the team at Canify in Southeast London. This is a hands‑on role at the centre of the business, supporting day‑to‑day operations, administration, customer communication and commercial organisation.

We’re a small, fast‑moving team, so we’re looking for someone who is adaptable, switched on, happy to get stuck in and can keep multiple moving parts organised at once.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Administration

  • Managing supplier invoices, keeping invoice records
  • Supporting with bookkeeping and general business administration
  • Organising purchase orders, stock paperwork and operational records
  • Managing shared admin systems, folders and internal documents
  • Coordinating deliveries, collections and logistics administration
  • Keeping timelines, operational tasks and internal processes on track across the team

Commercial & Customer Support

  • Responding to general enquiries and directing communications appropriately
  • Supporting customer account administration and maintaining organised records
  • Helping manage sales information, leads and follow‑ups
  • Assisting with trade/customer communication and scheduling calls or meetings
  • Supporting with order processing linked to customer accounts

Production & Supplier Coordination

  • Sourcing ingredients and materials for production
  • Supporting supplier coordination and helping maintain smooth operational flow

  • Comfortable working across multiple areas of a business
  • Strong with communication and follow‑ups
  • Confident using spreadsheets, admin systems and organisational tools
  • Calm under pressure and able to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Happy working within a small, entrepreneurial and fast‑moving team

Ideal Experience

  • Experience in operations, administration, office coordination, commercial support and technical/website management
  • Experience working within a startup, agency, hospitality or production environment
  • Familiarity with invoicing/bookkeeping systems
