Role Purpose
As a Sales Development Representative at Vodafone IoT, you will play a critical role in accelerating growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities for our global IoT connectivity portfolio. Your responsibilities will include creating market awareness, generating leads, and building a strong pipeline through strategic research, personalized outreach, and engagement with senior decision-makers across industries.
Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership
- Identify, qualify, and engage with inbound and outbound leads via calls, email, and social media.
- Nurture new contacts through the sales cycle to provide Sales Specialists with a qualified pipeline.
- Track and manage lead interactions using our CRM and report on performance metrics.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to optimise lead generation strategies and campaigns.
- Proactively research and identify target businesses based on trends within our ideal customer profile.
Qualifications
Core Competencies, Knowledge and Experience
- Self‑motivated with a desire to grow a long‑term career in enterprise sales.
- Resilient, target‑driven with a proactive, can‑do attitude.
- Proven experience in B2B lead generation or sales development (telecoms or technology sector experience is desirable).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and persuasive approach.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage high‑volume outreach effectively.
Technical / Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
